Canvas printed at home or in commercial operations will benefit from a top quality Liquid Laminate, such as to extend its life.
Exposure to sunlight, physical abrasion or moisture can degrade or even ruin printed Canvas; protecting with Liquid Lamination provides the perfect solution.
Landor/Marabu Liquid Laminates for Canvas and Fine Art papers are designed to penetrate the canvas or paper texture and coat the inks, protecting from fading as well as creating a barrier against water and other contaminants.
Two different types of liquid lamination for Fine Art prints are available from Landor:
- ClearShield type C for hand roller/spray gun application or for use with a liquid lamination machine for larger commercial projects.
- Available in Gloss, Semi-gloss and 30 degree Satin, ClearShield Type C will not crack or peel, even on stretched canvas and works on micro porous and porous ink jet receptive layers to reduce or eliminate pinholes normally encountered when applying Liquid Laminates to ink jet coated canvas. Type C is formulated for water resistant canvas only and is used with pigmented inks.
